Ridge Mulcher
The RidgeMulcher TD2000 is designed to help you maintain your gravel roadways. It accomplishes this by mulching the ridge that is brought up by your grader when you are “pulling shoulders”. The grader is now able to pull the shoulders, place the ridge where the gravel is needed on the roadway, be it crown or driving lane, and leave the area to continue blading your road system. The ridgemulcher is then used to lift, mulch, and spread the reclaimed gravel onto the roadway in a thin enough lift for traffic to safely travel on.
The benefits of this are numerous. Your grader is no longer spending hours moving the ridge back and forth across the roadway to break it down. In fact there is no ridge left to hamper traffic on your roadway. You are able to reshape your road shoulders to allow for proper drainage of your road surface. You save money on gravelling costs by reclaiming gravel that has been “kicked” into the ditch by traffic. Your mower will have an easier time when it is not fighting that gravel ridge in the ditch.
